REKOOL 20 D CAPSULE 15'S is used to treat conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. It can also be used to prevent ulcers caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
REKOOL 20 D CAPSULE 15'S is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach. It inhibits the action of the proton pump (H+/K+ ATPase) in the parietal cells of the stomach, which in turn helps to reduce the amount of acid in the stomach.
Common side effects of REKOOL 20 D CAPSULE 15'S include headache, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, and gas. Less common but more serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions, liver problems, and an increased risk of bone fractures.
