CAUTIONFIBROVAS TABLET 10'S can affect liver and kidney function. Regular monitoring of liver and kidney function is important while taking these medications. Report any unusual symptoms such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, abdominal pain, or swelling to your healthcare provider immediately.
Consult your doctor before combining medications to avoid interactions.
Individual responses vary; monitor lipid levels regularly for progress.
Adopt a heart-healthy diet, exercise regularly, and limit alcohol intake.
No, it is unsafe during pregnancy; consult your doctor for alternatives.
Fibrovas Tablet 10's is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It helps reduce "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while increasing "good" cholesterol (HDL), thereby lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke.
This medication combines Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate. Atorvastatin inhibits an enzyme involved in cholesterol synthesis, reducing LDL cholesterol levels. Fenofibrate decreases triglyceride production and increases their breakdown, enhancing HDL cholesterol levels.
Take Fibrovas Tablet 10's as prescribed by your healthcare provider, typically once daily with or without food. Consistency is key; take it at the same time each day to maximize its benefits.
Common side effects may include headache, muscle pain, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, and increased liver enzymes. If you experience unexplained muscle pain, weakness, or tenderness, consult your doctor promptly.
It's advisable to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may increase the risk of liver damage and other undesired effects.
Fibrovas Tablet 10's is not recommended during pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus. Consult your healthcare provider if you're pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Additionally, it's generally advised to avoid this medication while breastfeeding, as it may pass into breast milk and pose potential risks to the nursing baby.
